Phil Aspden

Commercial Director

Phil is SIS LIVE’s Commercial Director and spearheads the sales, marketing and business development teams to retain and increase all domestic and international business growth opportunities.

Central to Phil’s role is identifying and delivering new opportunities and maintaining and developing relationships with our key customers in all sectors that SIS LIVE operate.  Phil is also responsible for setting strategic policy and providing commercial leadership across SIS LIVE.

Phil has 20 years experience in various commercial roles across a number of diverse industries including previous roles at Pepsico and in smaller start-up companies. He has worked in the broadcast industry for nearly 15 years and previous responsibilities include the management of sales, marketing and key account management teams across BBC Resources Ltd. He has extensive knowledge of the broadcast facilities industry and the commercial environment in which it operates.

Most recently Phil has been instrumental in creating and establishing our joint venture with Peel Media to operate the primary broadcast facility at MediaCityUK in Salford which includes 7 HD studios and a wide range of Post and Content services.
