Simon Martin

Technical sales Manager

Having worked for over 15 years in the broadcast industry, Simon has extensive commercial and technical experience with various roles and duties which include direct hardware sales, technical solution consultancy and project management. He has managed projects including the upgrade of all first generation professional Sky digital IRDs, live picture acquisition from the top of Mount Everest for the Discovery Channel and the satellite up-linking and successful broadcast for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Torch relay.

At Link Research, he managed their European distributor network and major accounts including BBC OBs and SISLink. Simon conducted customer demonstrations of wireless camera systems and worked on prestigious events such as Le Mans 24hrs and The Boat Race. 

He joined SIS LIVE as technical sales manager in 2008 and familiarised himself with the SIS LIVE hardware product range and services which was essential for his secondment to the USA to run the new company, SISLink Inc.  Now based back in the UK, Simon continues to support the US operation in addition to developing and promoting SIS LIVE’s hardware product and service portfolio.
