Stephen Herbert

Head of Commercial Contracts, SIS LIVE

As Head of Commercial Contracts, Stephen (better known as Herbie) is a key figure in the sales and marketing of SIS LIVE’s products and services.

Herbie joined SIS in 1992 as a field-based satellite broadcast engineer. He subsequently held a variety of senior managerial positions, from training to field sales and operations, before being appointed Head of Commercial Contracts in 2008.

Herbie’s role requires a particular skill, not only in understanding and capturing customers’ requirements, but in leading, managing and educating others to deliver what SIS LIVE has promised.

Prior to joining SIS LIVE, Herbie served as an avionics technician in the Royal Air Force. In the latter years of his service, Herbie worked in procurement for the Ministry of Defence, where he specialised in reliability engineering to ensure that products could withstand the rigors of service life.

Herbie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Open University in Maths and Technology
