Utilising fibre optic technology allows all of the production facilities for these vehicles including up to 4 full broadcast cameras, radio talkback and floor monitors to be rapidly deployed up to 2Km away from the production unit using just 2 small fibre cables. The production unit itself is equipped with camera control, a Snell & Wilcox Magic Dave vision mixer, Yamaha O1V audio mixing console, VT record replay facilities and a completely dual redundant satellite uplink. All within the tiny footprint of a Mercedes Sprinter panel van, making these vehicles ideal for rapid deployment multi camera insert events whilst maintaining all the programme security of the bigger production units in the fleet.
