Unit 10 at introduction was the first of a new design totally integrated production facility with production input and operational comfort of the utmost importance. It’s a double expanding, fully-integrated digital widescreen production unit with VT edit and slo-mo areas, all in one spacious state-of-the-art vehicle. It boasts an innovative use of space, with the capability for housing a wide range of VT requirements under one roof. Its three edit areas can operate independently or as one large open area with line-of-sight to the production gallery. Whilst originally SD, Unit 10 has been fully upgraded to HD and 5.1 surround sound including installing a Calrec Sigma Bluefin sound mixer, giving it the ability to handle surround inputs and a much greater number of channels.
