Unit 8 is based on a 14m trailer with a single expansion along the entire length of its left hand side. It can be configured into multiple production and VT areas or as one large single area. Equipped with up to 6 Sony BVP-950 cameras, a Sony DVS-9320 vision mixer and a Calrec S2 audio mixing console Unit 8 is primarily focused to provide a comprehensive SD solution for unilateral coverage of major events with the ability to accept and process multiple external programme feeds and enhance them with its own cameras. Whilst this is its primary role Unit 8 is appropriately equipped and capable of operation as a stand-alone production unit.
