With great digital picture quality and free of any cables, they provide a flexible and safe way to get broadcast quality cameras into crowded areas and previously inaccessible places.

SIS LIVE uses the latest disc and solid state media SD and HD cameras which can be partnered with wireless transmitters. We have worked with 3D as far back as February 2010 when we broadcast Six Nations Rugby in 3D for the first time, covering two England matches at Twickenham and beaming them live to audiences in cinemas across the UK. Since then we have worked with a range of equipment to develop our live 3D offering, and all our recent large scale OB vehicles have been built with the necessary 3G infrastructure to handle live 3D productions.

All equipment is supported by our highly skilled maintenance team who can deal with any on-site problems quickly and efficiently, providing spares, replacements or on-site repairs to ensure minimum disruption to service. Our operators are experienced in diagnosing problems and on-site troubleshooting to ensure the equipment is working correctly prior to transmission.

Our teams work proactively to closely monitor the spectrum, anticipating and avoiding any potential issues on-site - absolutely essential in a live broadcast environment.

SIS LIVE’s RF specialists continue to develop new methods for making the most efficient use of available spectrum, and to use other bands. Our equipment has been selected to give a wide tuning range to make use of whatever channels are available at a particular location. Improved video compression like H264 and more advanced modulation are leading to improved spectrum efficiency, reduced interference and helping us maintain the best possible service.
