The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for end-to-end planning of broadcast events for new and existing clients in the most efficient and cost effective manner, working in a fast paced, highly compelling environment. The Scheduling Coordinator needs to be able to react quickly to ever changing requirements and work closely with commercial and operations departments to overcome challenges.
The role will undertake bookings and scheduling tasks working as part of the wider operational team, taking responsibility of events from quotation stage, through scheduling and planning to the final billing stage.
This role encompasses a 5 day working week. Times alternate weekly from 08:00 to 16:30 and 10:00 to 18:30. One weekend in 6 rostered as an ‘on call’ duty scheduler. Nominal 37.5 hrs per week and public holiday working. Pre-approved overtime payable at time and a half (x1.5).
In line with the NEP Core Values, the main responsibilities of the Scheduling Coordinator are set out below.
o Be accountable for all scheduling and forward planning for NEP Connect.
o Ownership for all parts of the scheduling and forward planning process.
o Scheduling of internal and external resources, ensuring that the most efficient and effective methods of delivery are undertaken.
o Booking of travel for field staff.
o Booking of internal and external satellite capacity.
o May be required to plan NEP Connect events, liaising with clients and taking ownership for all parts of the planning process.

o Appropriate costings and billing information to be correctly understood and entered into the ScheduALL system.
o Administration of ScheduALL system in line with business processes and needs.
Deliver Superior Service
o Develop and build effective relationships with external customers. (BBC, ITV, ITN, Sky, ETP etc).
o Build effective relations with internal departments including Commercial, Operations and Engineering teams to better understand customer needs.
o React to immediate customer requests for broadcast bookings, including satellite capacity.
o Upsell where applicable to drive business growth and profitability for NEP Connect.
o Be flexible and embrace ever changing customer requirements in a fast moving environment.
o To schedule all field staff and drivers and inform them in good time of any changes to schedules.
